Get Adam is a rapper, songwriter, and producer from Avondale, AZ who has recently released his latest single, entitled “Something” ft. Rrr Pow, a talented and soulful female singer. The track is ideal to be played at an intimate club settings, because of its introspective execution, and slower tempo. Yet at the same time a simple remix of the track, could turn it into an anthem for major arenas and festivals, due to its strong hooks and melody, as well as big room chords by Get Adam, coupled with Rrr Pow’s crisp vocals. It has a liberating and refreshing vibe to it, and it is safe to say that EDM has never sounded more infectious and variable.

From the beach to the sandwich shop, from the hotel to the pool, and all the way to the airport and club, “Something” ft. Rrr Pow is a track that will comfortably fit in. When time goes slow, deadlines pile up and you don’t exactly look your best. All you need is some juice to kick start your day.

And nothing like EDM can give you the much-needed boost. When talking about EDM, you can’t miss out Get Adam, his music oozes technical excellence and draws you in.

The new single carries both energy and restraint and also manages to incorporate a beautiful melody and percussion that ties the song together. If last year’s formula for hit songs is anything to go by, then producers should know that different is good. However, different can sometimes be very difficult for some artists to adjust to.

Get Adam has certainly done big things in a short amount of time. He’s an artist who is adept at creating life-affirming originals. His musicianship is apparent in how easily this track can be stripped down. And his sound has matured, developing far beyond the type of music that is suitable for a DJ set only.

In fact there is much more to “Something” ft. Rrr Pow than a simple selection of instruments; there is an undeniable feeling of intent, an intangible sense that Get Adam has poured himself into every bar of production. And beyond that he even throws himself into competently rapping a verse, and in so doing adding an extra dimension to the track.

With each successive listen it becomes more apparent; every single note has a purpose, every snare hit and synth sound was methodically placed and painstakingly produced. Get Adam’s attention to detail is stunningly thorough, every single sound has been toiled over, worked and re-worked, until what is left is nothing short of perfection.

At first it was hard to define, but then I realized that “Something” ft. Rrr Pow has one thing that so many of today’s dance music productions do not — it has a soul.
